WHAT IS CHAMBER MUSIC?
Chamber music is music that is performed by any small group of instrumentalists – usually trios, quartets and quintets – one player per part, without a conductor. Traditionally, chamber music was the ultimate home entertainment for people from all social classes and abilities, peasant or royalty, amateur or professional.
